BUDWEISER NITRO: AR EXPERIENCE

OBJECTIVE: Help facilitate the launch of Bud Nitro Reserve Gold by creating a strong Retail Hook to drive purchase intent and educate consumers on the benefits & selling points of Bud Nitro.
AR EXPERIENCE
To support the launch of Budweiser’s Nitro Reserve Gold, we were asked to create a strong retail hook. Playing off of the product’s unique serving ritual we were able to sell in an interactive augmented reality experience to educate shoppers and bring to life this “Nitro Pour Tutor.”
I owned the creative development of this project, working alongside a developer and copywriter. We worked on wireframes and storyboards to map out the experience - leveraging distinctive assets from Budweiser’s established look and feel.
To activate the AR experience, shoppers scanned a QR code on the in-store POS to learn how to properly enjoy a Nitro brew. The Nitro can came to life—beginning with flipping 3 times, cracking itself open, and pouring hard. Shoppers were then invited to experience Nitro for themselves by serving up a real-time offer as well as a prompt to sign up for My Cooler Rewards to earn points and redeem Bud swag.
